Rafael Acevedo is a poet, novelist, playwright and professor of literature at the University of Puerto Rico. He has written six books of poetry and three novels. His poems have been included in several anthologies of Latin American and Puerto Rican poetry, and have appeared in English translation in Guernica Magazine, Two Lines, Words Without Borders, and others.
