Campisi lives in California with her husband, shepherd, and newborn son.A gradute of the UC Irvine MFA program, she has held the George Bennett, McKnight, and James Jones First Novel fellowships. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Hayden’s Ferry Review, the Christian Science Monitor, the Provincetown Review, pology.com, and has been listed as notable spiritual writing in the Best American series. She is at work on a historical novel.
