An associate professor of English at New York Institute of Technology, Nanjing, China, S. Li has taught or served as a visiting fellow at Peking University, Yale University, and Mount Holyoke College. Her work has occurred in Feminist Studies, Bear River Review, and other channels. She is also on the editorial board of the literary magazine Today led by the Chinese poet Bei Dao.
