Timothy Kenny is a former newspaper foreign editor, non-profit foundation executive and college journalism professor. He has lived in Kosovo and Romania and traveled widely in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia as a reporter and teacher. Kenny was an Open Society Institute international scholar in 2010-11 and worked with faculty at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. His narrative nonfiction has appeared in Louisville Review and Gettysburg Review.
