As some of you are aware, this blog is still in beta stage (we haven’t officially opened for business yet, believe it or not). And because I expect my interests are even more limited than my expertise, I’ve invited a few others on board to round things out: Joe Campana, Jerry Harp, Sarah Heidt, Sergei Lobanov-Rostovsky, and Kirsten Reach. In all likelihood, we’ll have a few very special guest bloggers from time to time, but these folks (including, of course, yours truly) will be the main players. I am stealing David Lynn’s shtick here, but it is a good shtick and worth repeating: One of the finest things about Kenyon College–and what drew me to it–is the sense of community. This notion of the importance of community has informed The Kenyon Review‘s identity. On behalf of the Review and the other writers now joining me, I would like to welcome you all to our community.
