Christopher Janke’s Structure of the Embryonic Rat Brain won the 2007 Fence Modern Poets prize and will be published in the spring of 2007. Interestingly, the manuscript had been rejected for the last “five years or so” before winning this prize (at least according to the press release)… Persistance pays off, poets.
