Kalliope has a call for themed submisisons, and everyone is welcome to submit. The theme is “Women and War,” and they’re looking for poetry and short fiction. They are also taking a very broad view of war (I don’t care what you call it, the “War on Drugs” is not a war, although the editors of Kalliope would disagree with me).
