Hannah Star Rogers grew up in rural Alabama and received her PhD at Cornell University. She teaches at Columbia University and the University of Virginia. Her poems and reviews have appeared in Los Angeles Review of Books, Carolina Quarterly, and Haptics. Her fiction has received commendations from Glimmer Train and Nat. Brut. She has received National Park Service writing residencies in Acadia, Maine and the Everglades, Florida, the ArtHub International Artists Residency in Kingman, AZ, and the Djerassi Residency in Woodside, CA.
