Kerry Muir‘s creative nonfiction has appeared in Fourth Genre, Willow Springs Review, Crazyhorse, Literary Mama, Carve Magazine, The Pinch and elsewhere. Her essay collection, “BLUR,” was one of three finalists for Bauhan Publishing’s 2017 Monadnock Essay Collection Prize, judged by Andrew Merton. Her play for children, Befriending Bertha, won first prize at The Nantucket Short Play Festival & Competition and was published in the anthology Three New Plays for Young Actors from The Young Actor’s Studio (Limelight Editions/Amadeus Press, New York, NY, 2000).
