Sakinah Hofler has won the Manchester Fiction Prize and the Sherwood Anderson Fiction Award. Her work has appeared in Mid-American Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Philadelphia Stories, and elsewhere. A former chemical engineer for the US Department of Defense, she’s currently a PhD student in fiction and an Albert C. Yates Fellow at the University of Cincinnati.
