William Loizeaux

William Loizeaux has published essays, stories, and award-winning nonfiction and fiction books for adults and children. His memoir Anna: A Daughter’s Life was a New York Times Notable Book. His children’s novel Wings was the winner of the 2006 Henry Bergh Children’s Award in Fiction. His adult novel, The Tumble Inn, was the grand prize winner at the 2015 New York Book Festival. Another children’s novel, Into the Wind, is forthcoming in April, 2021. He has been a road department worker, a greenskeeper’s assistant, a house painter, and writer-in-residence at Johns Hopkins and Boston University.
