Aisha Gawad has been published in American Short Fiction and the Kenyon Review. She was awarded a Pushcart Prize in 2015, and she received her M.F.A. in Fiction from Cornell University. Currently, Aisha is at work on her first novel about Arab-American teenagers living in post-9/11 Brooklyn.
