Carissa Chen is a student at Phillips Exeter Academy. Her paintings were selected for display at the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities office, the Pratt Manhattan Gallery, and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum. Her poetry has been awarded a national medal from the YoungArts Foundation, regional keys from the Scholastic Art and Writing competition, and second place in the Bennington Young Writers competition. Carissa likes photography and genetics.
