Doug Ramspeck is the author of five poetry collections and one collection of short stories. His most recent book, The Owl That Carries Us Away, was selected for the G. S. Sharat Chandra Prize for Short Fiction and is forthcoming from BkMk Press (University of Missouri-Kansas City). His poems have appeared in journals that include Southern Review, Georgia Review, and Slate.
