E. C. Osondu was born in Nigeria. He won the 2009 Caine Prize for African Writing and currently teaches at Providence College in Rhode Island. His novel This House Is Not For Sale will be published in early Spring 2015 by HarperCollins in the U.S. and by Granta Books in the U.K and by Neri Pozza in Italy. He received his MFA in creative writing from Syracuse University.
