Jim Whiteside is a recent graduate of the creative writing MFA program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His recent poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Southern Review, Indiana Review, Ninth Letter, Post Road, and Forklift, Ohio, among others. Originally from Cookeville, Tennessee, he works as a barista and occasionally teaches in Greensboro, North Carolina.
