Katie Umans’s first collection of poems, Flock Book, was published by Black Lawrence Press in 2012. Her recent writing has appeared or is forthcoming in RHINO, Radar Poetry, Sixth Finch, and The Los Angeles Review. Umans has an MFA from the University of Michigan and was Halls Poetry Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, 2005–06. She works at the University of New Hampshire’s Center for the Humanities.
