Marcelo Morales Cintero (Havana, 1977) is a poet and prose writer. He received a degree in history from the University of Havana and graduated from the Univercità per Stranieri di Perugia, Italia, with a degree in Italian language and culture. He has published three books of poetry—all prize-winning—and a novella. A collection of his work, The World as Presence, recently appeared in English. He lives in Havana.
