Micah Dean Hicks is a Calvino Prize-winning author. His work has appeared in New York Times Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and EPOCH, among others. His story collection, Electricity and Other Dreams, was published by New American Press in 2013. He teaches creative writing at Arkansas Tech University.
