Nicholas Delbanco is the author of thirty books of fiction and nonfiction. His most recent collection of essays, Curiouser and Curiouser, appeared in 2017; this fall he will publish a new novel, titled It Is Enough. He recently retired as the Robert Frost Distinguished University Professor of English at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
