Nina Wieda is a winner of the national Yesenin poetry competition organized by the Molodaya Gvardiya literary journal, Moscow, Russia. She has published a poetry book, The Music of Blue Thunderstorms. Her essays appeared in The Who, the What, and the When art book, Chekhov for the XXI Century, and Toronto Slavic Quarterly. A selection of her poetry is coming out in Gobshite Quarterly. She teaches Russian literature at Middlebury College.
