Shelley Puhak is the author of Stalin in Aruba (Black Lawrence, 2009) and the chapbook The Consolation of Fairy Tales (Split Oak, 2011). Her poems have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Missouri Review, Southeast Review, and many other journals. Shelley is assistant professor at Notre Dame of Maryland University and lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
