Kosiso Ugwueze’s short fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in the Georgia Review, Joyland, Gulf Coast, Subtropics, the New England Review, and The Best American Short Stories 2023. She holds an MFA from the writing seminars at Johns Hopkins University, where she was the managing editor of the Hopkins Review, as well as a recipient of the Dr. Benjamin T. Sankey Fellowship. Born in Enugu, Nigeria, she grew up in Southern California.
