Vojislav Pejović was born in Montenegro, former Yugoslavia. A neuroscientist by training, he published a critically acclaimed novel in Serbo-Croatian in 2008 and is currently finishing a book of stories in Serbo-Croatian and English. He lives in Evanston, Illinois, with his wife and children.
