Wah-Ming Chang is a writer and bookmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. Her fiction has been supported by such organizations as Art Omi, the Saltonstall Foundation, and the New York Foundation for the Arts, and has appeared in Mississippi Review, Joyland, and The Kenyon Review, among other publications. She is the author of Hand, Held (Bored Wolves, 2026), an artist’s book about her father’s art practice, from which “An Autobiography” is excerpted. Elements of the book were displayed in the 39 Footnotes group exhibition at Accent Sisters (New York, 2025) and have been published in Abundant Number, Works & Days, and Epiphany.
