By far the most ambitious program of recorded poetry readings ever to be undertaken, the Yale Series has released twenty-two LPs as of this past March and will continue to produce records from its reserve of 145 tape recordings in the course of the next few years. This collection represents a decade of work by the poet Lee Anderson, who has now presented the tapes to the university. Anyone who cares for poetry has good reason to rejoice at Yale’s enterprise.
