His writing has appeared in POETRY, Paris Review, Tin House, Slate, New England Review, Southern Review, Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, and numerous other publications. A Guggenheim Fellow and Whiting Award winner, he lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.
