Clarke Clayton studied writing at Barnard College, where she received the Peter S. Prescott Prize and the Howard M. Teichmann Prize. Her stories appear in Storychord, Knee-Jerk, and Foundling Review. In 2013, she was the recipient of a residency grant from the Vermont Studio Center.
