Ersi Sotiropoulos is the author of thirteen books of fiction and a volume of poetry. Her work has been translated into many languages. Her awarded novel Zigzag through the Bitter-Orange Trees was published in the US in '07 and Landscape with Dog and Other Stories in ’09. Her last collection of stories Feel Blue, Dress in Red received the National Award in Greece in 2012. She lives in Athens, Greece.
Translator Chris Markham has spent most of his adult life in Greece, working as a teacher and translator in the northern city of Thessaloniki. He now divides his time between Greece, Florence and England’s Lake District. He specializes in legal translations and can be contacted at www.chrismarkham.eu
