Caitlin Chan is a sophomore at Bergen County Academies. Her passion for poetry began in third grade. Since then, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards have awarded her two Golden Keys and seven Silver Keys for her writing. Additionally, the New York Times has featured her work in the Travel section of their website. She was also the recipient of an honorable mention from the Dupont Challenge. In addition to writing poetry, Caitlin enjoys playing volleyball for her school’s varsity team and participating in Model United Nations.
