Jenny Apostol’s essays have appeared in The Washington Post, Brevity, Speculative Nonfiction, Cordella Magazine, SweetLit, Dorothy Parker’s Ashes, and Creative Nonfiction’s “Sunday Short Reads,” among other publications. Apostol was a finalist for the Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction at Bellingham Review. She holds an MFA from the Rainier Writing Workshop. Before she turned to creative writing, Apostol was a television producer at National Geographic, immersed in the natural world. She is currently at work on a lyric memoir.
