Alex Zobel is the founder and brewer at Armistice Brewing Company, in Richmond, CA. She holds a PhD in 16th- and 17th-century English literature from UCLA. She is a volunteer faculty member at the Prison University Project at San Quentin State Prison and, if she can ever get her head out of the mash tun, she hopes to write and teach more soon.
