He is the winner of the 2024 Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction and was named as a finalist for the 2024 Iowa Review Award in nonfiction. He has received support from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and is an alum of The Kenyon Review and Tin House residential writers workshops.
